SERBIA. Stefan Uros II Milutin, king, 1282-1321. Gros (Silver, 19 mm, 2.07 g, 1 h). STEFAN REX Stefan Uroš II enthroned facing, crowned and bearded, holding lily-tipped scepter in his right hand and patriarchal cross set on globe in his left. Rev. Christ, with nimbus cointaining three crosses, seated facing on decorated throne and holding book of Gospels with both hands; in field to left, IC above fleur-de-lis; in field to right, XC above fleur-de-lis. Jovanovic, SMC, p. 23, 14. Jovanovic, Srpski Srednjovekovni Novac, 7.9.2. Rare. Nicely toned. Very fine.
